Summary:
The ERRC “Shadow Report” for CEDAW in 2007, based on the organization’s own research, highlights the most relevant facts on the situation and problems of Roma women in Hungary, including the areas of violence against women, education, employment and healthcare. It contains comprehensive recommendations for the government on the elimination of the above problems and the improvement of the situation of Roma women, specifying action in the relevant areas of concern.
