Summary:
MONA Foundation for the Women of Hungary, founded in 1992, is an NGO aiming to initiate public debates on women’s and men’s status and roles in a democratic society, and the still persisting problem of gender inequalities. MONA’s activities include the organization of public meetings, network-building among women’s NGOs, education and training, conducting research on gender equality issues, e.g. violence against women or labour policies, and consulting with governmental actors. The statutes of MONA Foundation consist of the basic data of the foundation, the main goals and activities of the association, the financial resources and management, the rules of membership, the organizational structure of the foundation, legal representation, and the rules of disbanding the foundation.
