Call for entries: Feminist Impact Prize (FIP) 2026

Are or do you know the creator of a feminist cultural product that made an original, innovative contribution to the social discussion on power and gender? Then apply for the Feminist Impact Prize 2026. The winner (v/m/x) will have a chance to win €7,500!

The FIP is awarded biennially by the Feminist Cultural Fund Gender&Science, 'to promote and disseminate feminist knowledge, with an emphasis on historical knowledge and critical reflection on culture and science, from an intersectional and inclusive perspective'.

Who is eligible?
  • Creators of cultural products that express a feminist point of view or perspective in an extraordinary way, and that were made public in the Netherlands between 1 April 2024 and 1 April 2026.

  • Cultural products in all media and genres stand a chance, from podcasts and websites to documentaries, films, exhibitions, theatre or performances, fiction and non-fiction books, etc.

Assessment

The Jury will judge the entries on:

  • The original and/or innovative contribution to the social discussion on power and gender, conceived as a social and symbolic category.

  • The proven, expected or promotable impact of the cultural product through the FIP.

Submit

Creators can submit their own product, but third parties can also nominate products. In all cases:

  • Send the submission to fip@atria.nl before 1 May 2026, with a link to a digital file of the cultural product.

  • Include: a motivation letter (max. 1000 words) explaining why the product should be awarded the FIP, clearly stating name, position, contact information and any relationship to the creator/s.

  • Please include a link to a digital file of the cultural product.

  • For physical, material submissions, please contact the jury secretary: dinekestam@cultuurenco.nl.

The prize will be awarded in autumn 2026.

  • Liane van der Linden, active in projects in the field of art, culture and diversity

  • Dineke Stam, Intercultural Museum and Heritage Projects (Advisory Board Feminist Culture Fund Gender&Science), secretary

  • Meral Uslu, filmmaker

  • the fifth jury member will be announced later
