Atria 90 years
Three leading feminists, Rosa Manus, Johanna Naber and Willemijn Posthumus-van der Goot founded the International Archive for the Women's Movement 90 years ago. They did so to collect and preserve the heritage of women and the women's movements and to promote scholarly research on the position of women. Now, 90 years after its foundation, Atria manages one of the richest and most comprehensive collections in the field of gender equality and women's history in the world. In the light of current social developments, our function as a knowledge institute remains as relevant as ever.
