Ingrid Doorten
Dr. Ingrid Doorten is senior researcher and policy advisor. Ingrid studied Sociology at the University of Groningen and obtained her PhD in Sociology at Utrecht University on a study about the division of household labor in couples in the Netherlands: The division of unpaid work in the household. A stubborn pattern? (2008). Since 2005 she worked as a (senior) policy advisor for de Council for Health and Society, a strategic council for the Dutch government and parliament on public health & social issues. Ingrid has years of experience with the agenda setting of social issues and the translation of these in policy advice and policy recommendations.
