Atria turns pink during Pride Amsterdam 2017! Atria’s library and archive, situated in the heart of Amsterdam, hold one of the world’s largest collections on women, gender, and diversity. During Pride 2017, Atria offers a varied and exciting programme:

• Pink Tour: Under the guidance of an information specialist, visitors explore Atria’s archive to learn more about our LGBTQ-collection
• Theatrical solo: In this energetic performance about bisexuality, the artist continuously switches between different (bisexual) characters, all expressing their doubts, frustrations and desires
• A live radio-broadcast: Atria will host a free-spoken programme by radio-station FunX from our library

Pink Tour

Atria’s library and archive, located in the heart of Amsterdam, houses one of the largest collections on women, gender, and diversity worldwide. Exclusively for Pride Amsterdam, Atria has developed the Pink Tour giving special attention to our LGBTQ-collection: a crash course on the changing position of LGBTQ women since 1960. The Pink Tour is in English.

Aileen Pfauth – To Bi Or Not To Bi

In this energetic theatrical solo about bisexuality, Aileen continually switches between different (bisexual) characters, expressing their doubts, frustrations and desires. While wearing luminous shoes and singing captivating songs, she will take you on a rollercoaster of prejudice, stereotyping and a variety of sexualities.
