Cooperating with Wikimedia Nederland and IHLIA we regularly organise WikiFridays. Our goal: to enable participants to write about more women-related and/or lhbti-related topics on Wikipedia. During these WikiFridays you will learn how to edit and supplement Wikipedia and how to upload pictures on Wikimedia Commons.

On WikiFriday 23 September, we will be offering a training in English to help new and existing users find their way around Wikipedia. If you would like to attend in person, you are expected at IHLIA – LGBT Heritage at Oosterdokskade 143 in Amsterdam on Friday 23 September at 14:00. You are free to work on articles on Wikipedia until 16:00. You can also choose to participate online from 14:00 to 16:00.

Whatever you decide, WikiFriday is free for both beginning and experienced Wikipedians. Experienced Wikipedians will guide you through your first or next steps on Wikipedia and/or Wikimedia Commons. In order to know how many people we can expect, we ask you to register.
