The colorful postage stamps cover a wide range of subjects. Among these is of course the peace dove, the official symbol of the International Women’s Year. Moreover, many well-known paintings featuring women, working women and famous women were portrayed. Inspiring, powerful statements such as ‘peace, development, equality’ were often used.
These stamps form a rich and curious collection which is owned by Atria. A selection is shown here.
