Summary:
This book is, in Laura Grünberg’s words, an “NGOgraphy”, a subjective biography of “AnA”-one of the most important women’s NGOs in Romania after 1989. As an oral/lived history project, the public and private story of this NGO written from inside, provides the readers with a contextualized qualitative sociological insight into the evolution and dynamics of the Romanian civil society during the post-communist period.
