Perceptions of intimate partner violence among people in The Netherlands.

From a socio-legal perspective this lecture for the Conference Interpersonal Violence Interventions – Social and Cultural Perspectives (University of Jyväskylä, Finland, 14th-16th June 2017) explores how the two instruments recognize the gendered nature of VAW and what the implications are for the obligations that rest upon the state to provide protection de facto.

This study by Atria and Verwey-Jonker Institute primarily focuses on deepening existing insights into the approach in interventions that have proven to work when it comes to breaking through the intergenerational transference of violence.
