This issue of Aspekt about lesbian existence is one of the first materials in Slovakia in favor of people with a different sexual orientation, a revolutionary new topic in Slovakia and the whole post-communist region.

The article was originally published in Aspekt journal; by mistake without the subtitle: “Ako je to s feminizmom na Slovensku” (English: “How it is with feminism in Slovakia”.)

This article is the editorial of the first issue of the first feminist journal in Slovakia: Aspekt. It is also a kind of compellation of the future readers of the journal.

The text is an introduction to the second part of the anthology of feminist philosophy texts called “Styri pohlady do feministickej filozofie” (“Four views on feminist philosophy”).
