This is the first report on the state of human rights of sexual and gender minorities in Republic Croatia in year 2002.

This report is submitted for the 32nd CEDAW session held in January 2005.

Women gathered in the informal group Zagreb Women’s Lobby issued a public appeal to world governments, regimes, and all world women’s and peace organisations concerning rape during wartime.

It is an introduction to the special issue of the journal Marxism in the World, devoted to women’s studies.

The book maps the roles and activities of women within civil initiatives in Croatia from a self-referential position, based on personal experiences of women engaged in civil society within two decades.

The text deals with SOS hotline for women and children victims of violence, relying on experiences with the first hotline in Yugoslavia established by feminist activists in Zagreb in 1988.

The text is written by the women gathered on the Second Yugoslav feminist meeting held in Zagreb from 16 to 18 December 1988 and contains conclusions from the meeting and feminist political demands.

The collection consists of 18 short stories and essays by young authors of predominantly Roma descent, who tell about the situation of Roma people in Bulgaria or their own experience of growing up in Bulgaria.
